Objectives

Children made vulnerable as a result of Ebola may benefit from an enhanced safe and caring environment with families and communities.

The DEC and Band Aid provided funds for child protection work including support to orphans and carers. 28,666 people have been assisted through child protection projects, including training on child protection, and Ebola affected children and carers supported with home visits and counselling.
