This project was funded with UK aid from the UK government..
To reduce by 25% those without access to safe water supply and sanitation in rural areas of Nkayi, Gwanda, Matobo, Lupane and Insiza districts. The immediate objective is to increase equitable and sustainable access to and use of safe water and improved sanitation by 19 % and 24% respectively; and to improve hygienic practices among rural populations in the low WASH access and cholera prone districts by 2016.
